Angela Tursi is an Italian pianist and a singer based in Milan.
In 2015 she got a Master in Piano Classical Music at Conservatorio N.Piccinni in Bari and in 2018 she got a Master in Jazz Music at Conservatorio Nino Rota Monopoli where she studied with Gianni Lenoci and in 2018 she moved to London.
In May 2018 she published her first album BLUE PAINTINGS about the connection between the colour blue and music, inspired by the Concerning the Spirituality on Art by the Russian painter W. Kandinsky.
Angela has performed her compositions during the Piano Lab Festival in Martina Franca in Italy, Open Piano at Feltrinelli bookshop in Milan, Oceania Exhibition at Royal Academy of Arts, Piano Day at Shoreditch Treehouse, Play Piano for the Planet and The Swiss Church, Covent Garden in London.
As a back vocalist, she has performed with several choirs at Casa de Musica in Porto, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Royal Court Theatre in London, National Concert Hall in Dublin, Casa del Jazz in Rome; and she sang for Matthew Herbert, the Brexit Big Band and for the Hugh Jackman London tour.

In February 2020 she performed her new piano piece Pure love at Libreria Feltrinelli in Milan.Pure love has been selected by several important British film festivals and won second prize in the Audience Award at the Brighton Rock Film Festival.
In September 2020 she released her new album “Journey” in 2021 on of her piece “Sospeso” was choosen by Inri Classic for the “The Shape of piano to come Vol 2” compilation.
In April 2022 she released “Connessioni” her first album in collabration with the harpist “Susanna Curci” published by Inri Classic.
Angela Tursi è una pianista e cantate italiana di base a Milano.
Nel 2015 ha conseguito la laurea in Pianoforte Classico presso il Conservatorio N.Piccinni di Bari e nel 2017 ha conseguito la laurea in Musica Jazz presso il Conservatorio Nino Rota di Monopoli sotto la guida del maestro Gianni Lenoci. Nel 2018 si è trasferita a Londra.
A Maggio 2018 ha pubblicato il suo primo album BLUE PAINTINGS basato sulla connessione tra il colore blue e la musica ed ispirato al libro Lo spirituale nell arte del pittore russo W. Kandinsky.
Angela ha presentato il suo album durante Piano Lab Festival a Martina Franca, Open Piano,Libreria Feltrinelli a Milano, Oceania Exhibition presso la Royal Academy of Arts, Piano Day presso Shoreditch Treehouse, Play Piano for the Planet e The Swiss Church, Covent Garden a Londra.
Ha collaborato con diverse formazioni corali esibendosi presso Casa de Musica a Porto, Auditorium Parco della Musica a Roma, Elbphilharmonie ad Amburgo, Royal Court Theatre a Londra, National Concert Hall a Dublino, Casa del Jazz a Roma; Tra le varie collaborazioni, ha cantato per Matthew Herbert e la Brexit Big Band e per il tour Londinese di Hugh Jackman. Ha collaborato a numerosi progetti con Esmeralda Conde Ruiz.
Ha composto le musiche per i due cortometraggi realizzati da ScreenJam Productions: Hannah & I e Life After Death.
A febbraio 2020 ha presentato il suo nuovo singolo “Pure love” presso al libreria “Feltrinelli” di Milano. Il video di “Pure Love” è stato selezionato da diversi film festival britannici.
A settembre 2020 è stato pubblicato il suo secondo album “Journey” e nel 2021,una delle sue composizioni “Sospeso” è stata selezionata per la compilation” The shape of piano to come vol 2”.
Ad Aprile 2022 ha collaborato alla realizzazione dell’album “Connessioni” con l’arpista Susanna Curci ed edito da Inri Classic.
